Mud season is hard on carpet.
Around Dexter, a lot of what ends up in the carpet comes in on boots and paws. Gravel driveways, dirt roads and lake days all track in grit that works its way down into the pile where a vacuum does not reach.
Entries, hallways and stairs take the worst of it. They are also the cheapest things on our list: $20 for a hallway or entry and $30 for a staircase.
One price list for Dexter.
